Accuracy comes before convenience
A browser can draw a precise scale, but it cannot reliably know the physical size of every screen. 1Ruler therefore labels an uncalibrated scale as an estimate and gives you physical ways to verify it before measuring.
Corrections and accessibility
If a control is difficult to use, a translation is unclear, or a measurement behaves differently on a particular display, send the device and browser details by email. Reports that can be reproduced are used to improve the tool.
